Cramming features in a small space, no matter how important the function, can often lead to the frustration of some DJs that most of the time only want to use a handful of the software’s functionalities. It’s true that most DJs use MIDI controllers, CDJs, vinyl or modular set-ups that enhance their control over the performance. This is why we’re passing the mic to you…

Post a comment sharing your usual DJ setup with us, so we can think of ways to complement it within future.dj pro.

We have already brought a modular interface to our latest pro version so that any DJ, regardless of what devices they use, can shift between advanced features that they want for each deck and the basic must-haves. The decks can host a variety of sections with a choice between advanced and simple functions for sampling, looping, cuepoints.

The FX section gets 2 new modular sections: 1. intuitive X/Y axis effect pad – use 2 FX at once; 2. advanced parameters for each effect.

Each section has been beautifully thought out and we’re really proud to offer you guys a professional tool with a face that would even make a toddler say: “I think I got the gist of it”. This system also applies for the mixer section as it gives the whole interface an airy design. There are 4 different tabs for the mixer:

1. DEFAULT mode – volume, eq, audio tweeks and vinyl,

2. VIDEO mode – master screen with video transitions,  video fx and separate video previews;

3. HEAD TO HEAD mode – vertical waveforms for precise control over your mix;

4. INFO mode – section containing original artwork and detailed descriptions about artists/songs.

This year we want to make sure that everything can be seen straight away without drowning the DJ’s eyes with loads of buttons and knobs. What do you want?
