1) I could really use an adjustable control for each deck that moves pitch / speed back to zero over a specific number of beats in conjunction with the preference "Use slow speed / pitch reset". Currently, there is no way to adjust this speed, and this only works "musically" with the current (slow) setting in some cases. Having pitch / speed return to active song / source tempo and pitch over two beats, or four beats in tempo for instance, would provide some great options here

2) Along the same lines, I'd like a preference for the Pitch slider to "snap to zero" when it gets within a certain proximity of the zero point as I move it manually. This way, I would only need the one slider control for this operation during a mix, instead of moving the slider and then having to press the "reset to zero %" button once I get close.

I'd like to be able to set a cue point for each sample with a beat display window similar to what we currently have for each DECK. At least on the Pro 5 (1440 x 900) skin, there is a nice chunk of blank space to the right of the samples which would provide the space for a beat display / cue set window. This would provide a lot more flexibility with SFX source material. thanks.

Beeing able to actually use the RDJ2 - IE its 8 FX knobs (marked with a green border below):

Image
Note: I know the image is the Controller edition, which is the same as the Interface edition, only lacking a build in soundcard.

Currently all the knobs are stuck around 12 o clock in FDP (the filter will only move between 19.4 KH and 34 Hz). Making the knobs "Continuous" (the 8 FX knobs on the RDJ2 - IE are continuous) doesn't solve the problem.

I like rpmseattle's first suggestion regarding: 1) snap to zero pitch adjust, and; 2) ability to adjust auto return pitch to zero time.

Beyond these things, I have two major requests:

1. Better integration with iTunes. For better or worse, iTunes has become a standard application for managing music libraries. As someone else has requested, it would be ideal if FDP could work with iTunes and iTunes playlists directly, without having to import them.

2. More automix options. There is a product out there that has implemented an Automix capability that is based on the number of beats (variable beat number settings), versus time/seconds. It assumes that DJ wants tracks to be beat-matched, and starts/stops transitions accordingly. And it allows simple fades and cuts as additional automix options as well. It would be awesome if FDP would have similar capabilities, since this other product lacks 90% of the things FDP has to offer.

Hope to see these in the version coming out "later this month." :D

Thank you for bringing this great product to market, and for your willingness to consider suggestions like this for making it even better!

Thanks for your consideration.

Yesterday I got my new Denon MC 6000, a great piece of tec, but I am not a friend of Traktor and would enjoy continue using FD Po.
Would be fine to have native support in one of the next versions, is there so much difference to MC 3000?

It also would be fine to have both times (elapsed and rest) in the new skin, not only one of them by switching.

Hi there!
I just got into trying FutureDecks and there are some features the lack of which I just can't comprehend.
1. As far as i understand, right now it is only possible to select an audio device to use and the FD will use it's first n outputs (1 and 2 for deck A, and so on...). The user should be able to define which deck's sound go to what outputs on the audio interface. This feature is available in almost all other audio software.
2. Also, when setting up timecode control, the user should be able to select which inputs of the soundcard to use with the control signal.
3. It should be possible to select different types of timecode signals for the decks individually. For example, I'd personally like to use Pinky gen4 vinyls for two of the decks and the Pinky gen5 timecode CD for the others.

But apart from all this, I really like FD, keep up the good work!

Next week we will get our hands on the Denon MC-6000. So, very soon (3 weeks tops), we will have support for it. We hope you didn't sell it :-).
Other controllers added: American Audio VersaDeck and Stanton SCS.4DJ

Visit our facebook page for the entire album with supported controllers:

Have a great day.

Hi thanks, that´s great!

In the meantime I bought the full version of Traktor 2.5 to use my MC6000, but if FD works well with it, I may switch back, I still have my license and hate the fact that Traktor automatically modifies every touched MP3 to write different TAG-Infos.

Looking forward to the update

Greetings,

Max
