Midi controllers need advice

Postby Djdavebomb » Sun Jan 24, 2010 12:52 am

Hi guys,
I'm looking for a new midi controller in the notti distant future.
I'm currently using a bcd2000 which to be honest isn't as bad as what
some people mite say, and it works really well with fdpro v.2.
So if people can give me there opinion and share there experiances
with me that would be a real help.

Many thanks David

Well :D it works pretty well, but I must admit there are still some thing which can be done -- specifically, not all controls are mapped (assigned) by default in FutureDecks.
But, you can use the LEARN function.
The quality is better than BCD2k/3k and you also get to browse/load songs without touching the computer (directly from the controller).

Ok is it likely to be mapped in the future for fdpro??
A few guys are using the reloop digital jockey 2 IE,
how well is this midi mapped to fdpro??
I want to stay with fdpro because I'm so used to it now
and do have fun with it.

Hercules Dj Console RMX is much better mapped inside FDPro.
Almost all functions are already pre-mapped, and you can certainly map the rest if you want (with LEARN).

Of course, the Reloop is also supported fine, but the support is not complete yet.
