2 Days testing FDP2.0.2+BCD2000+win7 and same problem from about 1 hour mixing... in middle of a mp3 song hangs the soft...
Seems like ASIO drivers disappeared... restart software an all return to work...
Waiting the new release for the solution!!

BCD2000 drivers aren't gonna be 100% compatible with Windows 7, even with this XP virtual thing, if I think right - as vista and 7 are close in coding, and both are completely different from XP, and the drivers aren't compatible with vista...can someone confirm this though?

Well... apart of that is true win7 and winvista have similar base, win7 has made some changes in the mode of use old drivers, making possible to run old hardware in winXP compatibility mode better than winvista. However, is true that BCD2000 drivers are not made for win7 but... why not try it?...
My BCD2000 is running fine with FDP, the only problem is that I wrote before. When it first occurred I thougt that was a incompatibility about the drivers and win7, but when I read this post I think that is possible a solution...
whether the new release if the problem persists then I will think that is a incompatibility with asio drivers and win7...

news about this problem...
Now I dont have to close the FDP to make run the ASIO drivers... I only have to open CFG in FDP and go to Audio&midi, then the latency is 0... just like asio driver isn´t there...
Clic on Asio control panel button... nothing appears to happen... clic ok to return to FDP decks... and return to work...

Come on Vim!! we need sessions more than half past hour!!

The Windows 7 Driver compatibility mode doesn't support ASIO Drivers.
I suspect you have to Change your System or Controller.
... or make a donation to finance a new driver from the Behringer development.

YES the initial problem, we obviously can't correct the driver itself.

Well...
While we´re waiting for the new release, I was thinking about bitdevil said...
In Behringer web drivers sais... "Restrictions on Windows Vista and Windows 7 (32-bit): Driver installation has to be repeated in ‘compatibility mode’ "
http://www.behringer.com/EN/Support/B-Control-Downloads.aspx
Humm... Why not?...
My problem is a lot like this one...
Then I remember what Vim said in this threat... there was an issue on versions 2.0.x...
then I installed the 1.5.1 FDP version and try to make it fail...
I´m just finish a 2 hours mixing session and NO problem... NO stops, NO craps, NO fails... perhaps some little "jump" when te pc seems overloaded... but my sessions was a success... and bcd2000 is still playing in "auto mode" without problem... 2,5 hours...
I´ll try the next release of FDP, Although bitdevil says that bcd2000 does not work with win7 ...

Correct Djdavebomb...
My configuration is:
mainboard MSI K8MM-V
CPU AMD Sempron 3000+ 1.80 GHz
1 Gb Ram
Windows 7 Premium 32 bit
HD Samsung 250 Gb S-ATA
BCD 2000 + 32-bit USB ASIO/MIDI driver V 1.1.1.0
FDP 1.5.1
ALL working fine. Last session 4 hours mixing without any problem.

Once again, there is NO VISTA DRIVER for the BCD2000, period... Behringer has only offered a work around to get the XP driver to install on Vista, nothing more..
