Or Xylio is going the same way as their earlier company myxoft, j/k..

I find it strange that the web site is still there, LOL.

Yes, true. Well I won't be staying around much longer, it's like talking to a wall and it's a waste of suggestions.

I have switched to using Mixxx under Fedora Linux for my gig's. The time code and midi controller support is excelent (as long as your controller / soundcard are USB complient) in this software. I am thinking about making a Fedora Remix for DJ's but first I need developers to help. I did try using Mixx under ubuntu first but thier pulse audio, portaudio, and nouveau implamentations are not properly exacuted in thier distro, as a result lot's of problems from video errors to the audio subsystem causing lockups..

MSG me if your interested in such a project..

Well I'm certainly interested, as I'm going to study Information (Computer) Science after this summer here in the Netherlands.
But at the moment I have zero experience (well except for editting/creating skins and websites) :(
I'm really willing to learn and put time and effort into it, I'm only in need of some guidance (which tools/programs to use).

Not sure what is needed yet, I want to maintain my own repository / distribution based on Fedora, syncing up with fedora's repository's between releases, kind of like how Ubuntu does with Debian, only I want our fixes submitted back upstream. I have the domain name I want to use but need the space and knowledge as to how to proceed.

So you want to optimize the Fedora Linux OS for Mixxx?

Well, I don't have experience with the Fedora Linux OS, so I first need to work with it.
Therefore I won't be able to assist with the coding part the first months.

Untill then, I can create a custom skin for the project (for Mixxx).
So if you would like that for you project, let me know.

Seeing that you already have the domain name, do you have a forum installed where we can discuss this further?

Not at the moment, the domain is not parked, I will be getting the space as soon as I know how much I'll need. I'm just in the planing stage at the moment so I'm just getting the pieces in place first.

Huge request: Add FX no longer as a button on the skin, but when you press FX -> from there you can add FX

Funny thing, I was also thinking about the exact same thing yesterday. It will definitely be done.
