Just discovered: FD Pro folder contains the same files like ClubDJ ProVJ, EpicVJ, DeejaySystem... Something like a younger brother  . I can't believe it. Could anyone create an original piece od DJ software these days?

Those files that are the same are LGPL licensed libraries and extensions, all software relies on others work to get some things done without having to reinvent the wheel, why write a new mp3 codec or time stretch algorithm if the work can be licensed, cheaply (LPGL License) or expensively (most other licenses).. The open-source nature of these files also allows Xylio to fix and extend those files and contribute thier changes back to the community, allowing other to benefit from their work as well..

If you don't understand this then LGPL license is bundled with the software take a second to read it instead of bashing these company's for their contributions to the industry and project's like the ones used in their software..

Thank You..

'Analyse All Tracks' Button, so we don't have to go through and load every song into a player for futuredecks to analyse it. :)

However, this could also be implemented into the 'Re-scan library' feature request, in the way that instead of analysing all the tracks, FDP will just analyse ones that aren't already analysed.... :)

Don't know if it's possible already, but being able to manually configure hot-keys for many of the FDP functions would also be a HUGE help. :D

For example - add an extra tab in config named 'Hot-Keys'.

In there you have a table, with things like 'Load Deck A', 'Load Deck B', 'Sync Deck A'...etc in the left hand side.

On the right hand side, you have much like the Midi learn function: 'Press key(s) for this command'.

So, if I selected 'Load Deck A', and pressed Ctrl A, when in the main screen of FDP, pressing Ctrl A would load the next song into Deck A. Would be pretty nifty, eh? :)

P.S. Whilst we're at it - Voice control and the ability to control futuredecks with my mind would be pretty cool :P just kidding, hot-keys will have to do

Better waveform display. In the current version, it feels and looks fragile. Some songs don't even display a bassdrum.
For example: where you can hear a pluck synth, you only see a flat line in FutureDecks Pro, indicating that there is no sound at that point.

Also I think the waveform of the full song, is too small. Short breaks/interruptions can't been seen on it.

Those two little things combined (flatline where there is indeed sound, and an unprecise waveform) could make you as a dj end up in a disaster.

-edit-
Also I would like to see, when two tracks are synced, when you skip a part with your mouse, those two songs stay beatmatched no matter where you click.
(so you could only click on the beginning of a bassdrum for example, or only on the beatgrid)

An option to select a so called "search mode" for the jogwheel, which increases the size of the steps when turning the jogwheel, as scratching through the song just doesn't work that well (I'm not a mouse guy :P). (I'm using a RDJ2: IE)
Also the support of the 8 rotary ("clicks") buttons of the RDJ2:IE in FutureDecks Pro would be really nice, as they are useless in the current version :|
The support of mapping LED's on the controllers would also be an improvement :)
Also the High Freq Filter on both decks (high as in HI/MID/LO), doesn't seem to have much effect on the actual sound.
The mid freq filter cuts to many freq's.

Also I had this weird glitch: the faders seemed to be leaking sound when they were at 0. Didn't reoccur though.

A feature in FutureDecks Pro that automaticaly detects whether a song is playing, or not, and shows this by highlighting the play button.

-edit-
I like to see an autostop feature at the end of a track, as the track still plays even if the track ended.
-2nd edit-
Pitch Bend feature for the RDJ2:IE (by default pitch bend mode is on when you start FDPRO, then you can select scratch or search mode)

My wishes:

- Rating System for the songdatabase

- a "always on screen" waitlist. maybe on the right side (like Virtual DJ) or in the middle of screen

- a softer talkover fader curve (it's too hard at the moment)

- when I get songs in the database, why I can not see the time of a song (only after a analyze) ? This info are in the mp3 file header.

- When I get many songs in the database the screen are "frozen" for minutes. I have no information that the system is working properly.

- Gridlines in the songdatabase from left to the right side

- a 24 hour clock ex.: 23:00 vs. 11:00PM (we are in europe)

- a "refresh" system for the database without duplicated entries. When I get new MP3 files and i get them into the database, the database doesn't control for doubled files.

- covers on screen. the most MP3 files are have a cover picture in the tag.

Thanks a lot.
