1) PREVIEW OF SAMPLER - Ability to preview samples before adding to mix to get volume, pitch etc .(this should be possible if your going to add 4 decks as promised)

2) BETTER NATIVE EFFECTS - The xylio pack is really bad, when turning effect on you can hear the clic.

3) CUE/PLAY - As described by Freedomdk.

4) DATABASE ORGANISING - As most of us use Itunes to keep our tunes in the ability to update only new tracks in Fd would be a great asset to this great software. example: If I add a new song to Itunes this is automatically added to FD Database that way my FD Pro is always upto date.

Please make it possible to disable the "automatically detecting mix-in and mix-out" feature.

1. More accesible FX - When playing live I don't have the time to click the FX button, slide the fader of the one I want and press on - I need the FX already there, and the abilty to MIDI learn the FX parameters so I can assign them to my BCD2000. My suggestion for this would be:

a. To have a little 'FX Box' for each deck - containing 2-3 drop down menu's (for those wanting to use more than one effect at a time), where you can select what FX you want to use (the drop down menu's could be scrollable with a couple of MIDI Learned buttons ;)).

b. A small 'On' button next to each of these drop-down menu's.

c. If required a couple of FX parameter knobs underneath the drop down menu's.

I am only suggesting this as part of Xylio's included FX. From a DJing point of view it would be a lot better for me for this to be implemented, and perhaps support for third-party VST's to be dropped as I never need it, but that's just me maybe...

2. The ability to MIDI Learn the control of playlists etc, so I can select songs from my hardware and not have to use the mouse every time.

That's it for now, if I think of anything else I will come back with it. Other than those things - version 1.5.1 and version 2.0 have been rock solid! I've dj'd for many many many hours without a single thing going wrong. Big Big thanks to Xylio for this!

Almost forgot! Ability to check for updates from futuredecks itself - i.e. a button in the config menu that allows me to check for updates, and automatically download/install them without having to re-enter the liscence key or anything! That would make me a very happy man :D

And Hot-Keys - the ability to select a key on my keyboards to assign to each deck, meaning it will automatically load the next song from a playlist or whatever is selected as the next song into whichever deck...

@tyska: I've made an modification of the Pro 5 skin, in which I added load buttons of deck a and b under the "added" pitch box. Send me a pm if you want it ;)

I would like to see Mp3 +CDG implemented so I can use this piece of software for karaoke as well as Djing, as running to appz is a pain.

Hi guys,
this is one for everyone using a bcd2000 I do think there is a few of us left lol.
At the moment the 4 buttons below the fx rotary pots at the top of the controller
do not light up once pressed, so my wish is for this to be introduced in the next
version or update if it's possible. (for the LEDs to come once pressed)
Many thanks David
Regards
Dave

Hi
1) Moving loop window by few hops by pressing << >> buttons more than once is not possible ; (

2) some quicktime files don't play (namely MJPEG which is a common format used by vjs).

I agree with everything in this thread so far, and have more suggestions...:

1) FLAC support - it's a free codec, can we implement it somehow?

2) Ability to use key change and looping functions with timecoded vinyl

3) Torq control vinyl Side B please make work in absolute mode!!

Thanks :), and also: is there any way Vim or any other admin/developer could have a little read through this and tell us what features are being disregarded, what features are being thought about, and what features they hope to implement?

Flac support will be most likely in the next version, the other 2 I don't know for certain.

I would like to see a way to 'un-learn" a midi control. Exanple (as this happened to me), if there is a fader or button acting up, being able to clear it from the midi control map. Mabe useing the learn function to make it learn do nothing, a way to clear amidi command.
