LINUX!

Postby linuxmixer » Thu Sep 03, 2009 7:47 am

A Linux-compatible version?
Rly? At long last!
That would be FANTASTIC!

I've been desperately trying to get the system (BCD3000) working for a while now, and can't even get the MIDI device to be properly recognized.
Can't even get anything working via Wine, and VM's abstraction creates too much latency

Would be pretty cool if this where to work, since I could then simply create a customized & tweaked distro (likely (x)ubuntu-based), that I can then dump to ISO as a "liveDisk", & make that disk available online

Perfect setup would then be my NetBook, liveBoot off of a (customized) USB flashdrive or SD-card, external USB disk containing media & mixer

Any ideas on an ETA on this. I'd be happy to help out with beta-testing
