Vim, i acctually believe this beta version has a good stability and just works great for me :D .... I did a party friday, and saturday it was from like 8pm to 3am and never had a problem with stability, no freezing, no blue screens, no sound problems, nothing. I used samples, and th vst effect pack at the same time and no problem. One thing you gotta fix is that when i close the program it tryes to send a crash report, same as others above, and it doesnt detect my internet connection, cause on friday I did the party with the wireless internet connection active. So again Vim great work :D. Now you gotta work more on the active beatgrid, cause sometimes even if you playing same song on both decks, they will disaline. Anothe feature Vim, like a virtual folder as in virtual dj.

Hi DjDaNgEr,

stability is a real problem for many.
Can you post your equipment and setup customs?

DB search isn't very helpful .... how about automatic/manual filter.
eg. virtual subfolder/subsubfolder ... as filter criteria for all id-tags
i miss own fields like bpm, playedcount, songranking @ id-tag

Well, im using my toshiba with windows xp-updated to sp3, 1.7ghz intel pentium dual core, 2gb memory, 160 gb-hd. Beside that i only use my bcd2000. My latency is set automatic to 11. I have load songs in ram auto. Is just a basic set-up  . I have disabled the system recovery, no windows sound, visual effects is set for best performance, proccessor schedule is set for background services, virtual memory is set to custom-2-2. disabled ethernet modem under device manager. I do disk clean up at least once a week. I clean my browsing history like every 2 days. and i do disk defragment once a month. And of couse i keep my computer free of virus and spys, i do scans weekly.

And about the Database, I dont mind what xylio can implement :D as long as it gives me that option that when i want to look for a song that i dont remenber whet folders is in, i can find it simply by typing it in the search box as in virtual dj. :D

Ok, please post the requests on the Wish list (we look there from time to time).

Another thing: we released a new build of the 1.2.0 preview with some errors fixed (including the pseudo-crash at the end).
So, if some of you still have the time to test it -- just let us know if there are any problems left.

been using fd from the very beginning. Went through a lot of issiues and frustrations but in time it went away

i took it upon myself to test this beta and here are my findings.

-did three mixes avg of 60 min each, and i'm impressed on the behavior of the soft

- very solid, o crashes and as usual clean sound

-using bcd 2000  and no hang ups

- the gridding on 95% of my tracks is perfect

- no more hickups on load :o :o :o

- by the way my 3 sets were made with 70-80 disco tracks, wich in my mind, is thougher to do than with house, techno tracks

- it seems to be going (future decks) in a great direction

- also forced to admit, the back up from xylio turned around in a fabulous manner

keep on keep on, i'm back on board and quite glad to be

I tested last preview version under extreme conditions. The program is stable and reliable. It is incredible how it is not affected even by wireless connection and USB devices. Your team has been working very hard. We can see the results. And the support service is a dream made true. Xylio is the ONLY Dj Software Company with a forum where users can write and receive answers directly from the developer of the program in less than 48 hours.

Continue making FutureDecks better and better.

Cheers !

You mean the official 1.2.0 release or the next release?
- the 1.2.0 official release will be most likely at the beginning of next week (since by then we will get all the feedback needed to see if the version is good for releasing). We will not add any new features to this one, since we only did this for some months now and we didn't release anything official.

- for the next version we want to do some internal cleaning and optimizations and as for new features we want to add improved timecoded vinyl support (more timecoded vinyl types), more controllers support (Hercules RMX, M-Audio Xponent), whole song graphical preview (like in Traktor and Virtual DJ) and a few more features which we still didn't choose. Anyway, I'll let you know exactly what we are going to do for the next version when the time comes.

Just wanted to let you know that the timecoded vinyl support will NOT be included in the official 1.2.0 release. :(
We came to this decision because we feel this feature is not working as it should right now (or at least not good enough for a public release).
It will continue to be available in the preview versions and we will continue to develop it so that it will be available in the next official release.

LE: we already released the official 1.2.0 version
